Privacy policy
What we collect about you, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What this policy covers
This policy covers what we collect about you when you browse this platform, create an account on it, or enrol in one of its diplomas. It does not cover other people’s websites that you may reach from a link here; each of those has a policy of its own.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, your email address, your mobile number, and whatever sign-in method you choose.
- Your studies: the diploma you enrolled in, your attendance, your assignments, your marks and the certificates issued to you.
- Your payments: what you bought, when, for how much, and where your instalments stand. Card numbers never reach us and are never stored here — they are entered with the payment provider.
- Technical records: pages visited and sign-in times, used to run the platform and to protect it from abuse.
Why we use it
To give you the study you enrolled in, to issue your certificate and let it be verified, to collect the fees owed to the university, to write to you about your own studies, and to keep accounts safe from abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for anybody else’s advertising.
Who else sees it
The payment provider, to the extent needed to complete a purchase; the messaging providers, to the extent needed to deliver a message to you; the accrediting bodies, where a programme is accredited by them; and the authorities, where the law requires it of us. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Your academic record and your certificates stay for as long as a certificate can be verified — which is the whole point of having one. Payment records stay for as long as accounting rules require. Browsing records are discarded after a short period.
What you can ask of us
You may see what we hold about you, have anything wrong in it corrected, and ask for your account to be deleted. Deleting an account does not erase a certificate that was issued to you, nor a financial record the law requires us to keep — we say so plainly rather than promising what we cannot do.
How to reach us
Write to us through the contact page, or to the university address shown at the foot of this site, and we will answer.
